Membership Terms & Conditions

(Education, Enrichment & Family Activities Program)

These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the membership program operated by Mum N Kids Discovery Club Sdn Bhd. (“the Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By registering for membership, enrolling in programs, or using any membership benefit, the member or parent/legal guardian (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

 

 

1. Membership Eligibility and Registration

1.1 Membership is open to individuals, families, parents, or legal guardians enrolling themselves or their children in the Club’s educational, enrichment, arts, holiday, and family activity programs.

1.2 Membership registration must be completed accurately and truthfully. The Member is responsible for ensuring that all child, parent, and emergency contact information remains current.

1.3 The Club reserves the right to approve, refuse, suspend, or terminate any membership or enrollment at its discretion, where deemed necessary for safety, compliance, or operational reasons.

2. Membership Points Accumulation

2.1 Members earn one (1) point for every Malaysian Ringgit (MYR 1.00) spent on eligible programs, classes, workshops, holiday camps, enrichment activities, and approved services offered by the Club.

2.2 Points are credited only after full payment is received and the transaction has been successfully verified by the Club.

2.3 The Club reserves the right to:

• Determine which programs or fees are eligible for points accumulation;

• Exclude certain items such as registration fees, late fees, uniforms, materials, or third-party charges; and

• Adjust the points structure or eligibility criteria at any time.

 

3. Points Redemption

3.1 Accumulated points may be redeemed for applicable discounts on selected programs, classes, workshops, or activities, subject to availability and the Club’s prevailing redemption rules.

3.2 Redemption requirements may differ depending on the program type (e.g., enrichment classes, art programs, holiday camps, or family activities). Members are advised to confirm the required points prior to redemption.

3.3 Points:

• Have no cash value;

• Are non-refundable and non-transferable; and

• Cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

3.4 The Club reserves the right to decline or reverse any redemption in cases of misuse, error, or breach of these Terms.

 

4. Membership Card

4.1 A Lifetime Membership Card is available at a one-time, non-refundable fee of MYR 150.

4.2 The Membership Card:

• Is issued to the registered Member or family account;

• Is non-transferable; and

• Remains valid for the lifetime of the Member, subject to continued compliance with these Terms.

4.3 The Club may deactivate or replace the card in the event of loss, misuse, or program changes.

 

5. Discounts and Member Privileges

5.1 Members are entitled to a 7% sibling discount, which replaces the standard 5% sibling discount, subject to verification and eligibility requirements.

5.2 Discounts:

• Apply only to eligible programs as determined by the Club;

• Cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, or special offers unless expressly stated; and

• Are subject to availability and change without prior notice.

5.3 The Club does not guarantee the continuous availability of any specific discount or benefit.

 

6. Programs, Schedules, and Availability

6.1 Program schedules, instructors, venues, content, and duration may be adjusted due to operational, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.

6.2 The Club reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify programs where minimum enrollment is not met or where necessary for health, safety, or regulatory reasons.

6.3 Missed classes, camps, or activities are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the specific program policy.

 

7. Collaboration Partners and External Providers

7.1 The Club may collaborate with third-party educators, artists, facilitators, or partner organizations to enhance program offerings.

7.2 Any benefits or services provided by third parties are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

7.3 The Club shall not be liable for any acts, omissions, or services provided by third-party partners.

 

8. Records, Transparency, and Administration

8.1 Members may review their points balance, transaction history, and redemption records through the official membership platform or channel designated by the Club.

8.2 The Club’s records shall be deemed final, conclusive, and binding in the event of any discrepancy, error, or dispute, unless proven otherwise to the Club’s satisfaction.

8.3 The Club reserves the right to correct any system error, miscalculation, or omission without incurring liability.

 

9. Personal Data Protection and Privacy

9.1 The Club is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

9.2 By registering for membership, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of personal data relating to:

• Parents or legal guardians;

• Children enrolled in programs; and

• Emergency and authorized contacts.

9.3 Personal data may be used for:

• Program registration and administration;

• Safety, attendance tracking, and emergency response;

• Membership management, points, and communications;

• Internal reporting, service improvement, and compliance with legal obligations.

9.4 The Club will take reasonable security measures to safeguard personal data and will not disclose such data to third parties except where necessary for program delivery, safety, or legal compliance.

9.5 Members may request access to or correction of their personal data by contacting the Club through official channels.

10. Conduct, Safety, and Responsibilities

10.1 Members and enrolled children are expected to comply with the Club’s code of conduct, safety guidelines, and instructor instructions at all times.

10.2 The Club reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

10.3 Parents or guardians remain responsible for their children unless expressly stated otherwise for supervised programs.

 

 

11. Suspension, Termination, and Misuse

11.1 The Club may suspend or terminate membership without prior notice if a Member:

• Misuses membership privileges or points;

• Engages in fraudulent or abusive behavior; or

• Breaches these Terms or program policies.

11.2 Upon termination, all unused points and privileges shall be forfeited.

 

 

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in any program or use of membership benefits.

12.2 Participation in physical, creative, or enrichment activities carries inherent risks, and Members acknowledge and accept such risks.

 

 

13. Amendments and Changes

13.1 The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms, program structures, points systems, or benefits at any time.

13.2 Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

 

 

14. Governing Law

14.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

14.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
